You may qualify for a free NHS flu vaccination if you fall into any of the following groups:

  • Aged 65 years or over.
  • Living with either chronic heart disease, chronic respiratory disease, chronic liver disease, chronic kidney disease or chronic neurological disease.
  • Living with diabetes or immunosuppression.
  • Experiencing asplenia or splenic dysfunction.
  • Pregnant women.
  • Residents of long stay care homes or care facilities and their carers.
  • Household contacts of immunocompromised individuals.
  • Individuals with morbid obesity (BMI ≥ 40).
  • People employed through a Direct Payment of Personal Health Budget.
  • Individuals with a learning disability.
  • Frontline health and social care workers and hospice workers.
